Touché Tuesday happens when a producer does a remix and it’s better than the original.
I wouldn’t be taking any risks by calling out Beyonce with Austin TX spacebeat artist Datahowler‘s superior remix of her track “End of Time,” but yo Beyonce, you got goomba’d on this one.

The remix has a very essential role in the dance scene. Still, a producer has to have an assured conviction about their remix. If they don’t pimp their version as adding something or doing something positively to the song, there’s no need for us to listen.
“I really wonder why they didn’t make the chorus some of these layered backup vocals.”
Datahowler
Sorry Beyonce, Datahowler knows better on this one. This remix feels like the moving chorus break in a deep house song, and the direction Datahowler went with it is more listenable than Beyonce‘s usual diva approach. The remix dials back the top 40 vocals a bit and finds a hidden sweet spot for us, exhibiting a soulful undercurrent I might not have given a chance before.
Touché Datahowler.
