Wanna see a bunch of Eastern bloc models dancing in unison? Hold your horses, let’s meet Gacha first.

Gacha is from Tbilisi, the capitol city of The Republic of Georgia in Eastern Europe. I’ve heard of Georgia, the seaside country that sits where Europe meets Asia, because in my youth I played some combat simulators like this one when their country was considered a hotspot.
With his latest release and the dancers he chose for his video, Gacha combines my interests past and present.
Last week, Gacha gave us a sample of his latest vinyl single on Apollo Records, which is the “ambient division of R&S Records.” The bassman shares label space with forward thinkers Lone, Blawan and Pariah and the official release of “Bowl” and “Remember” shows he deserves to bump shoulders with giants.
In director Anna Kobakhidze’s video for “Bowl,” Gacha proves that you can also find groups of dancing ladies in the city known otherwise for it’s ex-Soviet political unrest. They probably didn’t go outside of Tbilisi when casting for the video, and the ladies’ amateurish movements are charming. Like the rest of Eastern Europe and Russia, the Republic of Georgia is well known for its girls.
Gacha knows how to keep them all in one place.
