Alain Massabova is that neighborhood guy who stuck with his childhood sport.
He’s the Rodney Mullen of flatland BMX. Similar to the veteran Mullen, the veteran Alain’s been riding for 27 years. That makes Alain’s career older than most of the medalists of this year’s X Games. But Alain doesn’t fancy himself the competitive type. At age 40, the editor of ART BMX Magazine is a family man with a special approach to BMX. In 40 Years in Paris, Alain champions the same ethos of his magazine: “Attitude, Riding and Travel.”
Maybe he travels sometimes, but I’d say he knows Paris pavement pretty well.
