Doshy was kinda mean to us on this one.
When you’re quickly rifling through blog posts to find new music, it’s hard to justify every song with a full listen. Unfair maybe, but that’s the reality of high powered music discovery. And that’s why Beekeepers does the funneling for you. That being said, I didn’t have to do any track skipping when I was hit with Doshy‘s “Plastic” from the recent Electrophilic EP.
When a track has a special something, you instantly know. You slow your roll. You don’t click ahead 20 seconds then 20 seconds again to hear snippets of the track, make a flash judgment and move on to the next window. You just listen.
So I’m enjoying “Plastic” with my full attention and at 0:43 seconds Doshy made a mean turn and fucked up my eardrum. I had my volume up very loud in my headphones.
It’s good to get beat up by the 500th track of the day. That’s when you bookmark it.
